Some bedside cribs have a side panel that can be adjusted to lower, allowing you easy access to your baby without having to step out of your bed. When you are choosing a crib to put at your bedroom, you should also consider whether it comes with extra features that might be useful to you. Some cribs can tilt or rock, which is great for babies who tend to be fussy.

You'll want to ensure that your crib or travel bed has a flat, firm mattress that fits snugly into the frame. This will lower the risk of SIDS by ensuring that your baby's feet and head don't slide down into any gaps or folds in the bedding.
